Meet the Founder

I started my career in hospitality sales working for my father's small business, where I learned early that relationships and service are everything. That foundation followed me when I transitioned into technology, selling IT consulting services to government and commercial clients.

Over the next 11 years I built my career from the ground up at TG Federal (formerly The Goal), progressing from sales to Business Development Executive to President. During that time, I helped lead the company's strategic expansion into government contracting, achieving the highest federal revenue in company history at $42 million across Civilian and DoD markets, and secured the company's first GSA Schedule.

I've worked for both small and large businesses, and each taught me something valuable. But I've always believed there's something special about a boutique organization. Agility, innovation, and excellence can remain constant when everyone is invested in the mission. Large or small, the strongest partnerships were never built on transactions. They're built on trust, accountability, and showing up when it matters most.

In 2025, I decided it was time to build something of my own. I founded Hyland on the belief that genuine partnerships are built on trust, accountability, and a commitment to doing right by everyone we serve.

The shamrock reflects my Irish roots, and my dad's, who built his own small business from the ground up and showed me what it looks like to lead with integrity. It also reflects the values that define how I run Hyland Company: clear communication, genuine relationships, relentless determination, and steady perspective when things get hard. Like the shamrock, we don't need to be the biggest in the room to make an impact. We focus on being a true partner to both our clients and delivery professionals. Real relationships, honest and swift communication, results delivered with both excellence and care. The shamrock is a reminder that great work comes from combining capability with authentic partnership. And maybe a bit of Irish luck doesn't hurt either.
